Awesome....

Do you know what is (feels in some cases) really awesome?

  • A piece of lint in the corner of your eye and every time I blink I can feel it, but I can't seem to find it to pull it off.  Awe.Some!  I will keep telling myself that at least.
  • Rearranging the family room.
  • Sleeping in - and by sleeping in I mean 8.  But this hasn't happened for quite some time.  So I am sort of wondering why I even put that?
  • Sitting in the hot tub at the gym after water aerobics.
  • Spring Break (for me).
  • Knowing the kids and I have no school on Monday - which means, sleeping in !:)  Seriously, no plans what-so-ever!
  • Having your hair cut and colored - oh and styled by someone other than yourself.  (Prior to getting my hair license I loved, and I mean LOVED to do my hair.  Not my favorite thing to do now.  I love to do it, but I want a quick and easy hairstyle.  So when someone else styles it for me, it is blissful!)
  • Knowing that I only have four more semesters left in school and one of those semesters is student teaching!
  • Feeling the Spirit at trek meeting Saturday morning.  Brent and I are a Ma and Pa for Trek this year.  Knowing that we get to spend a few days with the sweet youth in our stake, and hopefully help them feel of the love their Savior has for them and the love their ancestors has for them.  This seems like a huge responsibility.  But I know that the Lord will help us.  I felt that Spirit today and I know that he will guide us and direct us in helping these youth feel of the love he has for them. (Oh, by the way, did you notice I said "youth" and no my boys?  Yes, both boys are going, but I have been warned by them that I am not to refer to them as my children.  They are hoping that we are NOT their Ma and Pa on trek.  They are also hoping that they are in a company as far away from ours as can be!  We were also informed that this was the WORST day of their life when they found out that we would be going on Trek with them.  Well, at least Garret said that.  It is all in jest though.
  • Knowing that my Singing Time went well today!  Junior Primary sang, they were reverent, and we learned the second verse to I Feel My Savior's Love!!!!  Yes, it is three exclamation points exciting!
  • Spending time with my family doing absolutely nothing!  Actually  we were watching Frozen Planet on Discovery Channel.  It was way cool - haha - it was incredible.  It is amazing the things our planet and the various species on the planet go through.  As I watched it, I kept thinking how blessed the photographers were to get to see first hand the marvels of nature right before their eyes.  Absolutely an incredible show.  If you have a chance to watch it, definitely make the time.  Even Duncan dog liked it (up until the wolves killed a bison - after that, he wasn't so much a fan).

I keep forgetting about Frozen Planet! I was going to record it, and forgot that too. Hopefully it'll run again.
That's so great that you're going on trek. Maybe you'll be Sadie or Jake's Ma- they'd love it!
