Now that is random

Okay so this post is not necessarily about one thing, but I just need a break from my homework. I am nor sure what I got myself into this semester. I must have been thinking crazy. I know what I was thinking and I was thinking that it would be easy, itis summer, teachers do not want to grade papers, there is not going to be much homework.... Boy was I wrong! According to each teacher, each class, all four classes, it is the same thing that they do in the fall except in half the time! Fun?!? (said very sarcastically). I have felt like this past week has been nothing but reading, lots of reading. Oh well, one week down, seven more to go and I am sure that it is going to fly by.
Oh by the way, if you are reading this or you know us, we are going to have a home makeover party, my house and you are invited. Just think of the fun that you will have? Stop reading for a minute and just imagine it.... Wow! Fascinating! A thrill! I know, hold back your enthusiasm, you just wish it could start today! We will have pizza for you to buy, a dollar a slice. I will have water to drink for free or there will be pop, seventy-five cents a can. Here are the details....What we will be doing is painting. I know, you want to come now. No, this is not going to be aired on t.v. It will just be for my own benefit. It is a win-win situation for me. I win because I get a painted house. You win because you get to make new friends. Just think about it? A new network of friendships that you could sell Amway to or that could sell Amway to you!?! Which reminds me, have you seen the Quixtar (Amway) commercial on tv? I guess a new way to recruit people. Okay back to my recruiting for free help, I mean fun...Finally, think about it...you will be making one lucky, deserving family happy and making all their dreams come true. And at the end the results will be painted walls!!!! At the very end of our day of painting and friendships and I have cashed in on the pizza, I mean I served you a much deserved hot meal, we can all walk out the door, down the stairs, blindfold each other, with a video camera set at the top of the stairs we then we can all walk back in to the house, remove our blindfolds and just be amazed at the results - freshly painted walls!!!! We of course would have an announcer leading us around, asking us what we think. Narrating, and then each of you could buy the cd for five dollars. What a bargain! And then, we can repeat this the next week putting in wanna-be wood flooring in the kitchen and bathroom!!! (Prices on the food may go up because of gas prices, by the way).

(I told you, now that was random) Just kidding, I won't charge you for the food.
So like I said I was working on my homework up until Madi handed me her DS to play for her - Big Brain Academy - now she wants me to get her a good grade. Isn't this cheating if I play for her? So I did, I played for her. I managed to get her a "C." I will just refer both of us as we or us, but we are now "MUSEUM CURATOR'S!" I know, I am striving high and so is she. At least she is young enough that she can improve...lol.

So, back to my story, I WAS doing my homework and the two kids, Parker and Madi, were playing the Wii. Parker had stepped into the kitchen and Madi was doing some sort of voting thing they have on it, on the vote channel. She asks Parker, "which would be better, to travel into time or not?"

Parker replies without even thinking about it, "no, you would not want to go back into time, because what if you won a trophy or something and you went to get it and you had no idea what you were getting it for."

Madi says, "yea, I guess you are right." So, I am assuming she voted no.

But how great is that, not wanting to go ahead only because you may win something and not know what you did because you would have no recollection of it. I fully assumed that they would have said yes to going ahead in time, but I guess they surprised me.
