I am just not in the blogging mood. I guess I need to overcome it, because it is a great way for me to journal.
Anyway, I thought I would post a poem from my favorite poet, Shel Silverstein. It is from A Light in the Attic.
This is great reminder of the reason why we have Christ in our lives to help guide us back to him. Without him, we would be lost.
God's Wheel
Shel Silverstein
Shel Silverstein
God says to me with a kind of smile,
"Hey how would you like to be God awhile
And steer the world?"
"Okay," says I, "I'll give it a try.
Where do I set?
How much do I get?
What time is lunch?
When can I quit?"
"Gimme back that wheel," says God.
"I don't think you're quite ready yet."

great poem -- I agree Ward Conference was great! I'd love to hear your recipes. Job hunting? Who is doing that?
Don't answer until you're ready -- you deserve a break....and then some!!!:)
Brent has been doing some job hunting since October/November. It has been a pain, but oh well.
I haven't been in much of a blogging mood either. DOn't know why. Oh well...
