So...I finally did it!!!

Well, I finally did it. I am still trying to get the hang of this blogging thing, but I have a blog. I did have one, but not one that I put anything on. I created it about a year ago, but I really did not like the name...King Duncan Dog. Named after, of course, our baby, not really - but Duncan. Although, he thinks he is our baby. I think he would be very sad to know that he is a dog and not a human. Seriously, just look at this picture. He was laying down flat on his back, and the crazy dog loves to have his picture taken.
I am excited, I just added a picture!!!!! Woohoo. Who would have thought that is all it would take to make me happy! hahaha.
Well, this has taken me the better part of the day to figure out how to change my template. I figured it out pretty quickly what I needed to do, but I could not get it to save. Now I need to figure out how to add music.
I am going to try to keep this up to date as well as I can. But for now, I am a blogger.
Oh, and as for the name, this is a new blogging name. I asked Brent, like I did the last time, what we should call our blog. I found a music bandname generator, and I entered in our last name, and then I entered in Arizona, and then Cacti, as well as 3 kids. It came up with some interesting names, but nothing clicked with us. Brent started saying Displaced Arizonans. Then utsnosux, and that just did not sound interesting either. All though, I have to admit, there was a lot of snow and the kids were and are very tired of it. They have shoveled not only our yard, but both neighbors on each side of our house and then two different neighbors across the street. And, if that is not enough, the snow plow driver really likes us. He thinks we do not have enough snow, so he piles all, and I mean all, every bit of snow, on our side of the street. While most people now have lawns they are starting to looking at, we still have black, ugly snow in our front yard. We had so much snow in the front yard, that the kids had built tunnels in the snow. The dog/human would use this as a means of getting from the driveway to the front yard when we let him out. This way he did not have to scale the Mnt. Christensen in our yard. But, I guess we need to water, so I will quit complaining. I am just glad it is warming up.
Back to that name thing (sorry I go on a tangent), we finally agreed on displaced desert rat. I am not sure why Brent wanted rat, but it sounded good. Now he thinks it needs to be a different name. I guess when you see the name change you will know why and who wanted it. lol
Alright, I think I have bored you enough, if you are still reading this. Gotta make our nightly trip to Walmart...fun...hahaha.
